Ms Jennifer Berry BScN, MN, PHC-NP currently holds the position of Assistant Deputy Minister, Operations for the Government of Nunavut, where she leads dynamic healthcare teams across Nunavut. She holds a master’s degree in nursing and also a Primary Healthcare Nurse Practitioner registration. Advance practice nursing in the north is a passion for Jennifer, where she has dedicated majority of her career as an outpost nurse and nurse practitioner. Prior to transitioning into the Assistant Deputy Minister role, she held the position of Chief Nursing Officer with the Government of Nunavut where she successfully led several initiatives to advance northern nursing practice, nursing policy and new innovative care models which support healthcare excellence and care closer to home.
